Commercial projects usually lack in creativity due to restrictive building codes. The client, Marriott Crabtree, was looking for a more modern completely new pool to fit into a complete renovation of the property. The resulting sleek-looking pool, coupled with the various means of accessing the pool via a grand staircase or a rock-faced elevator, and the adjacent reception and lounging space combine to balance the entire property facelift. The property is just off of one of the busiest intersections in this metropolitan city and surrounded by competing businesses, but the Marriott Crabtree offers a more resort-like feel than its neighbors. The result is a beautiful contemporary pool where guests can relax and escape the hubbub of city life.
