This multi-level, multi-vessel project has three pools: an attention-getting catch basin, a 3′ max depth lounging pool for youngsters, and a vanishing edge enormous deeper pool with slide, waterfall, and grotto for the older kids and adults. The spa is designed intentionally to achieve maximum sunset viewing across the lake whether in the spa or sitting along the attached raised bar countertop. The spa spills into the lounging pool, which then breaks into the catch basin and the main pool. The main pool breaks as a vanishing edge to the 65′ long catch basin. The vanishing edge creates a magnificent sound and gives the clients their privacy, making this stepped pool a boat-stopper when viewed from the lake. Also part of this design was a massive fireplace living room area and an outdoor kitchen closer to the house.
