This project blends natural aesthetics with thoughtful functionality, creating a resort-style retreat within a compact backyard setting. The freeform pool was designed with soft, organic lines to complement a more natural landscape feel, while incorporating a spacious lounging ledge for relaxed in-water seating.

A raised wall with integrated water features provides both visual and functional value, serving as a retaining wall to address the yard’s slope while introducing the calming sound and movement of cascading water. Fire bowls paired with water features add a dramatic focal point, creating a striking balance of fire and water elements. An attached spa with a spillover edge flows seamlessly into the pool, enhancing both the visual appeal and the sensory experience of the space.

The project presented several challenges such as, a sloping yard, and strict property setback restrictions. Through careful planning and design, the layout maximizes the available space while maintaining a natural, cohesive aesthetic that transforms the backyard into a highly functional and visually engaging outdoor escape.
